On the dark side of my heart
There’s my self hiding from you
And I visit him whenever you’re gone
So I don’t lose myself
There are shadow on my speech
That reveal my sadness
Having breakfast
Seems like a trip to the museum
With hundreds of “don’t touch”
Some subjects are forbidden on my tongue
And would I dare to get caught thinking
A horrible punishment shall I receive
While I’m more horrible
For ever having looked twice
I must stay silent.
